My name is Kimba, I’m a makeup artist and I’d like to welcome you to my new website and blog!

It has taken me a long time to get this together because well… I’m a procrastinator and also when it comes to having to write anything about myself I generally avoid it because i feel like a wanker when i attempt to.

I hope to update this regularly when i have jobs or when I’m bored and start painting myself at night. I find a lot of joy in natural makeup, making people feel comfortable in their skin and not have that caked on feeling. On the other side of natural i really enjoy doing special effects makeup, making someone look real messed up is really satisfying and therapeutic to me. It doesn’t have to be perfect, its rustic and and random and beautiful. 

Anyway here’s to more regular posts and I hope to get to speak to some of you in the future when you’re in need of a transformation for a wedding, fashion shoot or any special event.
